Psychic Ability & Guidance

Do certain people really possess the ability to see into the future? Can they really see (Clairvoyance), hear (Clairaudience),or feel (Clairsentience) guidance from another place – from Spirit Guides? Can a pack of cards really give insight into a person’s character and future possibilities? There are many such tools for this sort of divination including runes and pendulums, but do they really work?

I certainly believe in guidance from Spirit and use cards myself, but these are just tools to help clarify what can be rather obscure guidance. Real psychic ability lies within the individual and I personally believe that each and every one of us has some psychic ability. We all talk about trusting our instincts and sometimes get good or bad feelings about situations or even people, how many of us have just “known” who is calling when our telephone has rung? Are we tapping into a side of us that often lies dormant – a Sixth Sense?

What about hauntings and the sensations that many people experience when ghosts are allegedly present? Even some of the most sceptical paranormal investigators will admit to feeling changes in temperature and other strange sensations whilst on an investigation. Are these the spirits of people who have passed on and are trying to reach out to us? Mediumship is the ability to connect with such spirits and the validation I have personally experienced from good Mediums has convinced me that this ability is indeed very real.

The psychic realm is one I continue to explore and I see my own abilities grow all the time – sometimes to my surprise! But whilst I feel that guidance, particularly during difficult times, can be comforting and helpful, I also believe that it must not be taken as gospel. Psychic guidance is merely a snapshot of one possible outcome based on life continuing along its current path, but things change and nothing is ever set in stone – ultimately we are masters of our own destiny.
